Hi there, I am Marielle
I coach and support mothers who are raising teen girls.
Raising a teen girl is not always sunshine and lollipops.
Also, we are raising our girls in a totally different world than when we were teens. I want to help you feel more equipped to deal with it all the tricky situations you’re facing parenting a teen girl.
I will help you understand your daughter better. I’ll give you the practical tips and the emotional support you need. My goal is for you to worry less and feel more confident, so that you can focus on supporting her and connecting more.
Because no matter how hard she seems to push you away, she definitely still needs you to guide and support her.

Do you want to feel more connected with your teen daughter?

A little bit more about me
I’m a parenting coach and a life coach for teen girls.
My goal is to help you feel MORE connected and LESS frustrated with your teen daughter.
I’ve dedicated my professional life to teen girls. As a teen life coach, counselor, and teacher, I’ve talked to, coached, and counseled many teen girls and their mothers.
And I also know what it’s like to raise a girl in this constantly changing, plugged-in world. I face the same joys, worries, eye-rolls, frustrations, and attitudes as you.
Let me share the lessons I’ve learned with you.
I’m not going to tell you how to raise your daughter. I want to show you what lies underneath her unpredictable or intense reactions. I want to help you understand your daughter, and maybe even yourself, better.
I want to help build a bridge when the gap seems wide. I want to heal hurt feelings, be your sounding board, take away feelings of guilt or inadequacy and if needed invite you to look in the mirror. I want to show you how you and your daughter can improve your communication and feel more connected.
I believe that parenting a teen girl is about:
understanding her world | having a sense of humor | learning not to be hurt | making time for 1:1| a lot of deep breaths| and embracing imperfect parenting.

I know from experience how hard it can be to find the right way to connect with your teen girl.
But don’t be fooled by her attitude or eye rolls. She still needs your support and guidance.
And probably even craves one-on-one time with you.
Use these LOVE NOTES to affirm, uplift and comfort her. To let her know you understand what she’s going through or how proud you are of her.
A note from you on her pillow or in her bag may just be the difference between a good and a bad day.

Marielle has a unique gift. She makes you feel safe. In this safety you feel confident to share your fears and thoughts.
She never dismisses your feelings. Instead she encourages you to embrace them and then gently guides you to a path of positive thinking and taking action. She empowers you to reach out to your support system. She coaches you about how to have difficult conversations. She helps you understand that you are not the only person who has felt that way or had that problem.
Knowing I was not alone and knowing she had helped others gave me the confidence to trust that Marielle could make make a difference. Thank you Marielle. Your guidance started me on a path that has changed me for the better. How I think of myself has completely changed. Now I look to myself to be happy. I know I can face the challenges of life and ask for help when I need it. Most importantly, I now have a strong sense of self worth that I never had before. In other words, you helped me become bad ass and I am all the better for it.

Marielle and my daughter clicked instantly and my daughter felt Marielle really understood what she was going through.
With Marielle’s creative (this is what my daughter likes) but at the same time practical tips it didn't take long before we noticed a difference. Every day she slept in quicker then the day before and after a few sessions my daughter felt confident enough to go further on her own. It was my first experience with online therapy but it worked and it is super convenient as it can be arranged at any available time slot at any given place. If something else comes up I will e-mail Marielle!

I signed up for the Mrs Marielle’s Group Coaching Program ‘Stressmanagement, Study- and Test Taking Skills’ so that I could cure my habit of procrastination and learn how to study more efficiently!
It definitely worked and I can honestly say I am way less of a procrastinator now than I was before. This also means I am WAY more relaxed. The most useful parts of this program were the online group calls – which taught me quite a bit – and the private online community because I could refer back to it when needed. I would one hundred percent recommend this program to others because even tough it was a bit boring at times, it really did help me to improve and do better in school.

With her usual enthusiasm and energy, Marielle brainstormed how she could support the school and our students. First and foremost, Marielle herself was key to the successful delivery of a comprehensive coaching program program for our IB students.
She was able to quickly develop a rapport with the students as her in depth understanding of teenage development, academic and social pressures, and third culture kid experiences made her easy to talk to and helped students to feel understood. Marielle consistently checked in with students to ensure she was covering topics they found relevant, and she provided practical strategies that could be utilized immediately after each session. This program was truly a beneficial and timely addition to our existing supports. I hope more schools and students will benefit from Marielle’s program as we have!
Being a teen girl these days is not easy. Parenting a teen daughter is just as hard.
I want to help build a bridge when the gap seems wide. I want to heal hurt feelings, be your sounding board, take away feelings of guilt or inadequacy and if needed invite you to look in the mirror. I want to show you how you and your daughter can improve your communication and feel more connected.

When we are not taking our daughters’ teenage behavior personally and we help them to stop taking us so personally, we’re better parents.
